Mediasite has it's own recorder that can live on your computer (desktop or laptop). The Desktop Recorder allows you to record with options of screen recording, webcam, and audio or offline without an Internet connection. In this course, you will learn how to set up and use Mediasite Desktop Recorder (MDR) for the first time. If you complete and follow along with the full course you will have installed MDR and recorded several types of presentations. Troubleshooting Playback of Mediasite Presentations. If you are having trouble playing a Mediasite presentation or are encountering excessive buffering/pauses in the video, first verify your computer and your internet service meet the requirements for playing a Mediasite presentation. Download Mediasite Mosaic for macOS 10.15 or later and enjoy it on your Mac. ‎Mediasite Mosaic enables you to use your Mac to record your display, camera and microphone and create a multi-track video presentation to upload to My Mediasite.

Issue

macOS Catalina (10.15) was released on October 7, 2019, and does not support 32-bit applications. Mediasite Desktop Recorder is a 32-bit application, and will not run on this operating system.
